PUBG Mobile is really taking India by storm. This time it's the PUBG Mobile Gaming League which is being organized under the banner of Matka, part of the annual fest Quark by the students of Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - K.K Birla Goa Campus.
Matka was instituted in 2009 and since then has pitted over 500 players against each other in games like CS: GO, DOTA 2 and FIFA. This year, they are back with a PUBG Mobile Gaming League which will be held on October 18 and October 20. The tournament will serve as a precursor to the Quark fest and seeing the response, the organizers expect to host over 1000 players in the PUBG Mobile Gaming League.
The PUBG Mobile tournament is supported by Regal Gaming India and League of Extraordinary Gamers (LXG) TV which are the streaming partners.
The rules of participation are very simple. Interested players need to register for the tournament for which solo players will have to shell out ₹30 while two players can get into the match for ₹40. Get your squad into the game for ₹60.
There are prizes and goodies worth ₹15,000 at stake and who knows, maybe you might get that chicken dinner.
