BlackBerry Evolve with dual rear cameras to go on sale in India from October 10

BlackBerry Evolve will go on sale in India on October 10, exclusively on Amazon India. The smartphone was launched earlier this year by Optiemus, along with the Evolve X. While the Evolve X has gone on sale already, the BlackBerry Evolve is going on sale only now, following a delay of almost a month from its planned schedule.

BlackBerry Evolve specifications

The BlackBerry Evolve is a mid-range smartphone that is powered by an almost-entry level Snapdragon 450 chipset. The Evolve features a 5.99-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels (Full HD+). The phone runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

In terms of performance, the Evolve comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, and support for microSD cards up to 2TB.

Imaging-wise, the BlackBerry Evolve features a dual camera setup on the back with two 13MP cameras and dual tone dual LED flash. On the front, users get a 16MP camera that has an f/2.0 aperture.

Other features of the BlackBerry Evolve include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM with 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm audio jack, dual band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type C port. The phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and includes Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The BlackBerry Evolve has been priced at Rs. 24,990 and will be available for purchase exclusively on from October 10th.
