The Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite, the affordable variants of the Pixel 3 series have been in the news for some time now after being spotted on benchmark sites and CAD leaks from case manufacturers.
The Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 XL Lite are expected to be be launched in the second quarter of 2019. In a new leak, the Pixel 3 XL Lite has been spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with 4GB RAM.
We already know most of the specifications of the Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite due to the earlier leaks. The device will replace the company's earlier Nexus lineup to take on affordable flagship devices being launched by companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi and Asus.
An earlier leak had suggested that the Pixel 3 XL Lite will be equipped with 6GB RAM, which was unlikely as the Pixel 3 XL, the search giant's flagship device itself has 4GB RAM. The new listing seems to be more realistic as it points towards 4GB RAM on the device. In the latest listing, the Pixel 3 XL Lite has scored 1640 and 4973 in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
Other specifications of the Pixel 3 XL Lite include a 6-inch display, Snapdragon 710 SoC, up to 64GB internal storage, 12MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie camera, which will reportedly capture images with the same quality as the Pixel 3. The device is expected to be powered by a 2,915mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ support.
On the other hand, the Google Pixel 3 Lite is expected to feature a 5.56-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, similar optics and battery as the Pixel 3 XL Lite. We will know more about the devices in the coming days.
