Search giant Google has finally announced the much-anticipated Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones at the Google I/O Conference. Soon after the launch, the company also announced the device's India pricing and availability.
The Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL run on Android 9.0 Pie and offer a stock Android experience to users. The Pixel 3a features a 5.6-inch Full HD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) resolution OLED display with Dragontrail glass protection. The Pixel 3a XL features a slightly bigger 6-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution OLED display with Dragontrail glass protection.
In terms of performance, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC coupled with Adreno 615 GPU. In terms of memory, the two devices feature 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL feature a 12.2MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, dual PD autofocus, OIS, EIS, 1.4μm pixel size and 4K video recording. On the front, the device sports an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84° FOV and a 1.12μm pixel size.
The Google Pixel 3a is powered by a 3,000mah battery and the Google Pixel 3a XL is powered by a 3,700mAh battery. Both the devices feature 18W fast charge support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
The Google Pixel 3a has been priced at ₹39,999 and the Pixel 3a XL has been priced at ₹44,999 in the country. The phones are available for registration on Flipkart and will go on sale from May 15.
