Chinese smartphone maker Honor today launched its latest mid-range device, dubbed as the Honor 10 Lite in India. The device was announced in November 2018 and has now made its way to India.
The Honor 10 Lite is the successor of the company's popular budget device, the Honor 9 Lite that was launched in India last year. While its predecessor was launched with dual front and rear cameras, the company has opted to use a single camera at the front while continuing with a dual camera setup at the back.
The Honor 10 Lite runs on Android 9.0 with EMUI 9.0 skin on top. It features the company's AI shopping experience that allows you to capture images and search for products on e-commerce portals. The device features a 6.21-inch display with a waterdrop notch and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, resulting in an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
In terms of performance, the Honor 10 Lite is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC coupled with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. This is paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Honor 10 Lite features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, the device sports a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Honor 10 Lite is powered by a 3,400mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a USB port. The device also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Honor 10 Lite is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs 17,999 for the 6GB RAM varaint. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart and Honor India online store starting from January 20.
