Huawei's sub-brand Honor has announced that it will launch its latest budget device, the Honor 8C in India on November 29. The device was launched in China last month and will be available as an Amazon India exclusive in the country.
The Honor 8C is the successor of the Honor 7C and comes with several improvements over its predecessor. It is the first device to be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 632 SoC. We should know more details about the device's price in India when it launches next week.
The Honor 8C runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 skin on top. It features a 6.26-inch HD+ (1520 × 720 pixels) resolution display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It sports a notch at the front that houses the selfie camera, selfie flash, earpiece and other sensors.
In terms of performance, the Honor 8C is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. In terms of memory, the device is expected to be launched in two variants - 4GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage options.
Coming to the camera department, the Honor 8C features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the device sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and selfie flash.
The Honor 8C is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a USB port.
