To recall, the LG V40 ThinQ was announced back in October last year. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and features a big 6.4-inch Quad HD display. The main highlight of the phone is its imaging prowess - it sports 5 cameras in total.
The LG V40 ThinQ comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD display with a notch in the centre. It's one of the few LG phones to use P-OLED technology, and is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as the back.
Powering the V40 ThinQ is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 512GB via a dedicated slot.
In terms of imaging, the LG V40 ThinQ sports a triple camera setup on the back. It has a 12MP primary camera with f/1.5 aperture, 3-axis OIS and dual Pixel PDAF. There is another 12MP telephoto camera and a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens. On the front, it has a 8MP primary camera and a 5MP wide-angle lens.
Other than that, the LG V40 ThinQ supports 2160p recording at up to 60fps, 1080p recording at up to 240fps and HDR video recording.
Other features of the LG V40 ThinQ include a standard rear mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and NFC. It also comes with a USB Type C port and is powered by a 3300mAh battery that supports USB Power Delivery technology for fast charging.
