Smartphone maker OnePlus and Google have teamed up to launch a new puzzle game called Crackables, with winnings worth up to $30,000 up for grabs, along with several other prizes. The game, co-created by OnePlus and Google, is based on a combination of real life and digital puzzles. If this piques your interest, then you should know that the Crackables game goes live on September 18th at 8 AM ET, which is about 5:30 PM IST.
As mentioned above, Crackables is a game based on several real-life and digital puzzles. Written by Sleep Deprivation Labs, the creator of Red Dead Redemption, Crackables promises to be more challenging than regular puzzle games. In addition to that, OnePlus worked closely with the APAC division of the Google Zoo team to develop this campaign. Google Zoo is a creative team within Google that helps brands and agencies unlock the creative potential of Google technology.
Crackables includes a robot called Crax that helps you along your journey in the game, including introducing you to the game for the first time.
Created as a mobile-only experience, Crackables can be played online at Crackables.oneplus.com starting September 18th at 8 AM ET (5.30PM IST). Players will have to use their smartphone browsers to play the game, as desktops and laptops are not allowed.
Since Crackables is a time-based game, only the first 1000 people to make it through the first 3 challenges will qualify to continue and have the microcontroller sent to them to become a potential winner.
The grand prize includes an 'ultimate' gaming setup worth $30,000, along with multiple opportunities to win other prizes in different stages of the game for the second and third place winners.
