Over the past couple of weeks, we've been seeing a lot of traction over the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro. The Redmi 7A is another budget phone that we have been hearing about and are waiting for it to launch in India. In a recent post on Twitter, Xiaomi's Marketing Head, Manu Jain recently tweeted that the phones could very likely launch by next month.
Initially, the star of the show was set to be the Redmi K20 Pro, but the Redmi 7A could steal the show, owing to its low price and the fact that it packs in a punch. The phone comes with a 5.6 IPS LCD display, and, surprisingly enough, it doesn't come with a notch. The phone has a rather uninteresting front, but for the price, it's what you'd expect.
Under the hood, it comes packed with a Snapdragon 439 paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. These are not powerful specifications but should be able to manage the usual every day tasks that one does on a mobile. In addition to that, the phone also comes with 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage.
Round back, the phone comes with a single rear camera which has a 13-megapixel sensor while the front facing camera has a 5-megapixel sensor. As of now, there is no word how the camera performs in real world situations and we are waiting for camera samples. As for the battery, it comes equipped with a 4,000mAH battery which is sufficient for most users.
Apart from the Redmi 7A, the company will also launch the Redmi K20 series. These phones are budget friendly with powerful specifications and can easily rival some of the most powerful smartphones out there. Both the K20 and the K20 Pro are expected to launch alongside the Redmi 7A mobile phone.
