Vivo V15 with pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras launched in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo today announced the launch of its latest mid-range device in the V series, dubbed as the Vivo V15 in India. The company had launched the Vivo V15 Pro in the country last month.

The Vivo V15 is similar to the V15 Pro in terms of design and features a similar 32MP pop-up selfie camera. The main highlight of the device is its triple camera setup at the back and gradient back design.

Vivo V15 specifications

The Vivo V15 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the company's Funtouch OS 9 on top. It features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

In terms of performance, the Vivo V15 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. In terms of memory, the device features 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Vivo V15 features a triple camera setup at the back consisting a 12MP primary camera with f/1.78 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and an 8MP 120-degree wide angle camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the device sports a 32MP pop-up selfie camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo V15 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with Dual-Engine fast charging support. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.6mm audio jack and a micro USB port.

Pricing and availability

The Vivo V15 has been priced at ₹23,990 and it will go on sale in India from April 1 in Royal Blue, Frozen Black and Glamour Red color options from Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm Mall and Vivo Online store.
