Xiaomi on Wednesday took the Indian smartphone market by storm yet again with the launch of its second Android One smartphone. The Mi A2 was globally announced in Spain last month and it has now made its way to India. One of the major USPs of The A-series from Xiaomi is that they run on stock Android, being part of Google's Android One Program.
The Android One program has become a topic of discussion amongst mobile phone enthusiasts due to its growing adoption rate. The entirety of Nokia's catalog is powered by stock Android and comes under the Android One Program. Similarly, there are smartphones like the Moto G6 and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 that offer pure Android experience out-of-the-box.
The Mi A2 draws design cues from its distant cousin, the Redmi Note 5 Pro, so much so that upon first glance, users will not be able to tell them apart from each other. Xiaomi's aim with the Mi A2 is to provide a powerful and long-lasting smartphone with all the goodness that Android has to offer.
