Xiaomi seems to be gearing up to launch a new bigger variant of the Mi TV 4 smart TV range. According to a new teaser, we could see Xiaomi launching a 65-inch model of the Mi TV 4.
Currently, Xiaomi sells its TVs in four sizes in India - 32, 43, 49 and 55-inches. Soon, a bigger variant could added to Xiaomi's portfolio of TVs, and some reports suggest that it could be a 65-incher. Xiaomi India's Managing Director and Xiaomi Global Vice President, Manu Kumar Jain, posted an image on Twitter with the hashtag #TheBiggerPicture, which confirms that the next Mi TV will have a bigger display. That said, the tweet does not reveal any size in particular.
Xiaomi's Mi TVs start from ₹12,499 in India and go up to ₹49,999. Xiaomi also reduced the prices of its Mi TV range by up to ₹2,000, passing on the benefits of reduced GST rates and improved US Dollar exchange rate. Given Xiaomi's pricing policies, the rumoured 65-inch Mi TV 4 model could be priced under ₹60,000.
Xiaomi also announced recently that it has become the No. 1 Smart TV brand in India, in under an year since it launched its first smart TV in the country. Xiaomi debuted with a 32-inch Mi TV last year, and its smart TVs run on PatchWall UI and include support for Google Play and Android apps.
