Only yesterday, there were new speculations and rumors about the upcoming Google Pixel 4. Since the phone is set to launch soon, these leaks would keep on increasing and in a rather surprising move, Google itself has released a teaser of the upcoming Google Pixel 4, using the leaks season as a platform to propel it's upcoming smartphone to the top.
The official reveal of the phone was shown on the company's Twitter account. It seems to confirm rumors that the back would indeed have a square camera module that houses a triple camera set up.
Leaks and speculations had pointed this out, but it seemed rather hard to believe as Google is a company known for keeping thier designs simple and functional.
The teaser doesn't give a great look of the phone from the front, but leaves nothing to the imagination when it comes to the back. The back camera module seems to house a triple camera set up. As per the current trend, we can expect one of them to have a high level camera sensor while the other one could very likely be a wide angle lens. As for the third camera, it could either be an average camera that is used for depth sensing and portrait mode shots or a telephoto zoom lens. Since Google has never put more than a single rear camera on their mobiles, it is hard to figure out what they are planning to do this time.
What's more is that this also confirms that the phone will have this kind of a design. However, this is not the first time we are seeing this from manufacturers. The upcoming iPhone also seems to sport a similar square module to hold the camera.
Apart from that, we can also see that Google is trying to shift its strategies. This year, they aim to make a phone that will be a performance beast. With the likes of the Google Pixel 3a and 3a Lite, the company can focus on making a truly amazing flagship smartphone.
