It is not often that a new phone that is creating some sort of hype doesn't get leaked. This could come from pictures in the wild, leaked benchmarks, renders on the basis of blueprints and a whole lot more. This time, we have new renders for the back of the upcoming Honor V30 smartphone that come to us courtesy of a case maker. Interested to know what the V30 will hold? Read on to know all about it.

The recently leaked render only gives us a look at the back of the phone, but it does clarify a few things as well. For starters, the V30 is indeed the mysterious Honor smartphone with a rectangular camera module. Earlier, it was speculated that this would be the phone, but the renders confirm our assumptions.

How many cameras is too much?

At the back, we can see a few other stuff as well. For starters, the quad camera system mounted on the rather large rectangular module can be clearly seen.

However, readers must note that in the render, the layout is taken from the Galaxy M30s, which also has a rectangular camera module, albeit a bit smaller. The V30 sticks out with the fourth camera lens at the back, which could be a time of flight sensor judging by the size.

Since the image of the case itself is transparent, we can also the ombre colour at the back. In classic Honor V series style, the phone has an angular V that points downwards in a variety of different colours when seen at the right angle.

Finally, one can also spot the AI Vision logo at the top right of the phone. Though this does seem a bit out of place, it could be subject to change. Keep in mind, this is a render based on the blueprints of the phone, so it is likely that a few things may not be the same when the phone actually launches.

Other information about the Honor V30

As for the specifications, there is really very little information. It is suspected that the phone will come with 5G enabled, meaning that it could likely have a Kirin 990 chipset. Up front, the phone is expected to have a punch hole display, but again, this is merely based of blueprints.
