It's the season of flagship smartphones and with that comes the season of leaks. The recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ were leaked into oblivion and other upcoming smartphones are no exceptions either. One of the most highly anticipated flagship of the lot, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been leaked once again and here are all the new things that have been revealed.
For starters, here's what we already know for sure- the phone will have a massive display, still rock a waterdrop notch, and, the screen will be curved along the edges like nothing you've ever seen before. A truly waterfall display, the sides blend into the seams of the phone, giving it a unique look indeed.
Apart from that, it is also known that the phone will come with a triple camera set up if not a quad camera set up. However, there was a lot of talk about what shape the camera module will be in. Now, it seems that the phone will opt for a circular camera module, much like the ones we've seen on Motorola phones. Huawei has already used square modules in the past and are now looking to try something different.
This is also a change from two of the biggest phones coming out this year- the Pixel 4 and the iPhones of 2019. Both these phones are expected to come with square camera modules at the back, housing a total of three cameras at the back each. The Mate 30 Pro will sport a circular module which will indeed lend it a unique look.
Apart from the news about the rear design, it has also been revealed that the Mate 30 will have 25W fast charging over wireless power sources. This means that wireless charging could actually become a viable solution that would make you ditch your wired charger. Though still not as fast as proprietary charging, it is a step above the competition.
At any rate, eager to see what Huawei has in store for us and how exactly they plan to keep up with the market trends owing to their current stand. In fact, the Mate 30 could very likely launch with their own new OS.
