Recently, Samsung seems to have hit the right spot amongst the Indian market with their A series phones that were launched a few weeks back. The success of these phones is largely because of the reasonable price and powerful specifications that they come with. Keeping this in mind, the company now aims to expand the lineup and have launched the newest entry into the family, the A70.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 comes as the latest entry into the A series phones and focuses on display and camera centric users. Owing to this, the company will ship the phone with a 32 megapixel front and back camera. Let's take a look at what else the phone has to offer consumers.

A70 Specifications

Starting with the display of the phone, this is one area where Samsung usually excelles and this phone is no different. It packs in a 6.7-inch display with a SuperAMOLED resolution of 2400x1080 pixels. Apart from that, it also sports an infinity-U notch and a 20:9 aspect ratio screen. Another neat feature is that the phone also packs in an in-display fingerprint scanner.

As for the under the hood specifications such as the processor and RAM, Samsung has given no confirmation about the chipset. However, previous trends suggest that the phone will come with a processor similar to the octa core Snapdragon 675 chipset. The A70 will ship to users in two configurations. The higher end, 8GB RAM variant or the usual 6GB RAM. In both the versions of the phone, the internal memory remains the same, capped at 128GB.

The main highlight of the phone is said to be the cameras, both front and back. At the rear, the phone sports a triple camera set-up with a primary sensor of 32-megapixels and an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera. Op front, there is a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, housed in the Infinity U notch.

To keep the phone juiced up, there is a 4,200mAH battery and the phone will come with Android 9.0 out of the box. Apart from that, the phone will come with Samsung's latest OneUI, which is an improvement from the TouchWiz skin the company used.

As for availability, Samsung has not declared details about the price and the availability of the Galaxy A70 in India, but we should know more details in this regard in the coming days.
