Samsung's latest A series phones, which were launched last month are performing rather well in the market. With their great specifications and low prices, the phones have hit the sweet spot with the Indian market and now, the company is expanding the lineup. The latest addition to the series is the Galaxy A70- which will replace the A50 as the top model of the family. Here's all you need to know about the newly launched Galaxy A70
Starting with the display of the phone, this is one area where Samsung usually excelles and this phone is no different. It packs in a 6.7-inch display with a Super AMOLED resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Apart from that, it also sports an infinity-U notch and a 20:9 aspect ratio screen. Another neat feature is that the phone also packs in an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As for the under the hood specifications such as the processor and RAM, the phone will house a Snapdragon 675 chipset- a departure from the Exynos SoCs that the company usually uses. The A70 will ship to users in two configurations. The higher end, 8GB RAM variant or the usual 6GB RAM. In both the versions of the phone, the internal memory remains the same, capped at 128GB.
The main highlight of the phone is said to be the cameras, both front and back. At the rear, the phone sports a triple camera set-up with a primary sensor of 32-megapixels and an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera. Up front, there is a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, housed in the Infinity U notch.
To keep the phone juiced up, there is a 4,500mAH battery and the phone will come with Android 9.0 out of the box. Apart from that, the phone will come with Samsung's latest OneUI, which is an improvement from the TouchWiz skin the company used.
The phone will be available for purchase by the end of this month and will be priced at ₹28,990. Along with that, consumers who pre-book the phone can purchase the Samsung U Flex, a premium Bluetooth device worth ₹3,799 for ₹999 only.
