After what seems like a long time, Vivo, the company behind the futuristic Nex lineup of phones is coming up with the newest variant in the series. The Nex 3 was highly awaited and now, it seems that we've got an idea of the design, camera, and display of the phone, thanks to an extensive teaser video they uploaded on the Chinese website, Weibo.
The Vivo Nex 3 comes with a waterfall display, much like we've seen in on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. With this phone, the waterfall display has been extended more to the sides and the phone reportedly boasts a 99.6% screen to body ratio.
In the video, the display seems rather crisp, but we don't really get a great view of it. As for the back of the phone, it seems to sport some sort of a glass back with a circular camera module housing a triple camera set up. Since the video moves rather fast, it's unclear if there are extra depth sensors around the camera.
The video also gives us a look at the packaging of the phone, which is rather big for a phone. The main attraction of the phone comes as the display which could very well be the biggest and most bezeless one we've seen. Another thing that stands out is the pop up camera, which seems to be rather rectangular in terms of size. Since we're not given a close up, it's unclear exactly why this design choice was made.
Apart from that, the internal specifications were also leaked and confirmed by Vivo. The phone will come equipped with the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which is slightly faster than the regular Snapdragon 855 processor. As of now, other details of the phone remain a mystery.
However, since the company has officially teased the phone, we can expect to see a launch of the phone very soon now.
